Bopearachchi 1U. HGC 12, 169. MIG 284o. SNG 642. Boldly struck in high relief and with a fine portrait. Small punch in the left obverse field, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.

From the collection of Regierungsrat Dr. iur. Hans Krähenbühl, ex Triton VIII, 11-12 January 2005, 656 (with original dealer's ticket).

Heliokles was perhaps a brother or a son of the murdered Eukratides I. In any case, he is considered the last of the Greco-Baktrian kings, being killed in the Saka and Yuezhi invasions of his lands.
